The
typical genal spines (length
5,4mm sym. T1 u. 2,7mm sym. T2) and also the macropleurals (length 8,4mm sym. T1 u. 4mm T2)
are present at the two juveniles. There's a tubular fringe around
the perimeters of the relatively semicircular big cephalon at both
Trilobites (T1- L= 4,4mm, B= 9,8mm;
T2- L= 4,0mm, B=9mm). The big and elongated glabellas (T1- L=
4,2mm, B= 3,4mm; T2- L= 3,4mm, B= 2,9mm) widens anteriorly, are
well segmented by deep glabellar furrows. The fixigenae like the
librigenae are well articulated. There are exceptional palpebral
lobes.
Fulcrate Thorax with pleures, ending in tips. Deep pleural
furrows. Both Trilobites probably with 14 segments (amount of
pleures), cause the posterior segments and pygidia are partly
damaged, so missing segments can't be excluded.
The
pygidia are typically very small.

One of
my favourites, the representative of Redlichiida Paradoxides
gracilis :-)))
Unfortunately, the genal spines are missing at this adult specimen
(alas as all too often) :-(
This
little guy has a sagittal length of 8,02cm (total length including
thoracic spines is 9,70cm).
The big
semicircular cephalon has a maximum width of 5,20cm and a length
of 2,60cm; broad glabella anterior expanding; significant
segmented; S1 and S2 undulating lateral the complete glabella, S3
implied; occipital ring with perceptible nod; no preglabellar
field; glabella sagittal vaulted to the anterior border;
transocular fixigenae highly developed; eye ridges accurately
defined.
The
thoracic length is 4,92cm (excluding spines) and the anterior
maximum width is 4,15cm; 20 well defined thoracic segments; the
long thorax is posterior tapering; rachis highly vaulted, tapering
posterior; significant dorsal furrows; pleures ending in spines;
macro pleures at the 2. segment indicated; deep pleural furrows
running oblique; long pleural spines at the 20. segment (2,7cm),
ending posterior the pygidium.
The
narrow pygidium has 2 Segments, with predominantly terminating
segment.
