This is
a completely preservated Cornuproetus with a central length of
41mm and a maximum width of 28,5mm. The photos were shot at
typically Waldbronnish 'Knalle Sonne' ;-)
Cephalon (length 13,0mm, max. width 25,9mm) typically parabolic;
significant ophistoparian sutures; border with complete border
furrow (anterior); cheeks ending in sabre- like spines; glabella
strongly vaulted (length 8,1mm, max. width 7mm), slightly tapering
forward and strongly falling off anterior; frontal border present,
limited by border furrow; glabella typically pustelous; occipital
ring L0 pustelous with deep and well articulated occipital furrow
S0; basal lobe L1 recognizable; significant palpebral lobes; eyes
holochroal, convex; free cheeks well articulated, deep posterior
border furrow; fixigenae small.
Thorax
(length 23,1mm, max. width 22,4mm) pustelous; rachis convex; 10
thoracic segments; pleures distal significantly falling off,
ending in spines; pleural furrows present; dorsal furrow
adumbrated.
Pygidium middle sized; 5 segments; pleural furrows well
articulated. |
